Cortical PiB-PET was associated with BDI scores (est. 0.0963; p <.05) only. When we stratified by APOE ɛ4 carrier status, we observed that subcortical PiB-PET was associated with BDI scores (est. 0.1135; p <.05) only in APOE ɛ4 non-carriers. Similarly, cortical PiB-PET was associated with BDI (est. 0.1102; p <.05) and BAI scores (est. 0.0988; p <.05) in APOE ɛ4 non-carriers.Conclusions: Elevated subcortical Aβ deposition might be associated with greater depressive and anxiety symptoms in community-dwelling CU older adults, especially in APOE ɛ4 non-carriers. This cross-sectional observation merits further investigation and needs to be confirmed by a prospective cohort study.Disclosure: Dr. Krell-Roesch has nothing to disclose.
